On-Grid Solar Roof System

The On-Grid Solar Roof System is one of the most widely used in the market. This is a Solar-Powered Generation System where the solar photovoltaic system is attached to and integrated with the grid. The power generated by this system is sent to the electricity provider or the grid from where it is used to run the appliances. The installation of on grid solar system is hassle-free and it is very easy to maintain.

How Does work On-Grid Solar Roof System?
The solar panels soak the sunlight that falls on them and transform the rays into electricity – this generated power is direct current which is then transformed to alternating current by the solar inverter. The transformed current is then sent to the grid from where it is provided for daily use. A net meter is a unit that records the electricity which is sent to the grid and the electricity that is used. At the end of a month the net metering unit generates a “net” statement of consumption.

Off-Grid Solar Roof System

As the demand and prices of electricity have kept on rising, the world looks at renewable energy sources for its power needs. In recent years, solar energy has become a very popular renewable energy source because of its falling costs and improving efficiencies.

Hybrid Solar Roof System

A hybrid solar system include the best from the grid-tied solar system and the off-grid system: it can communicate with the utility grid and store the energy in a battery bank.
In an on-grid solar system, the system ending during a power outage for the safety of any linesman making repairs to the power lines nearby. Although, a hybrid system can safely disconnect from the grid and provide electricity even during a power outage.
This feature makes the hybrid system a more affordable and environment-and eco-friendly alternative to an on-grid solar system with a backup diesel generator.
